    As long as we have one by the 31st of August it won't be too bad. We should have done our business earlier but we're not the only team still plugging gaps in the squad. if we don't sign a striker and a left back by the 31st, I admit I'll be slightly worried that we will struggle but patience is the key. I expect the worst but we have been quite active so far.

    She was buried on Monday and he is in the PSV squad for there Euro game tonight, as was mentioned on another thread, we have not been in contact with PSV since the weekend so looks like a non start AGAIN

    Maybe we are going to actually meet Lyons asking price for Cissokho but that would mean Ashley doing something for the good of the club and the fans so not likely

    I'm sure I read in an article yesterday with the PSV manager where he said something along the lines of "unless something happens, he will play on thursday" so they're must still be contact going no?

    Guiterrez at LB, headless chicken at times going forward but definitely puts a shift in at the back and gets stuck in, be solid back there for this one game as he knows its intensity well.

    I'd just leave Raylor. He did ok and he ain't gonna be coming up against Gervinho. Its Larrsson who doesn't have the same trickery or pace. You can afford to get tight and hassle him which suits Raylor. We just have to be patient on the signings front, its never easy. I'll be as worried about us as anyone if come the 1st September we're still in the same place but 12 days is a very long time in football.

    This. IMO Raylor was decent against arsenal and was better than Simmo despite being on his weaker side.
