I think they've opted against signing Ravel Morrison, so this would make sense. He was at Birmingham before.
Birmingham's one of his previous club's have to be honest i would not be too upset if we miss out on him, 12 goals in 178 appearances at joker park.
Wouldnt mind this lad before anybody else gets there loan mitts on him http://www.chelseafc.com/teams/deve...quad/u21-player-profiles/harvey-st-clair.html
I wasn't a fan to begin with but I've changed my mind and I think it could be an astute signing. He can play anywhere across midfield, and also at full back (?), he's got a tonne of experience which we need and he's a hard worker. He won't play every game but a good option from the bench.
Not strange at all. Considering most Championship clubs would want 80% of their youth players why should we expect to have our pick of them? Chelsea will no doubt tell us which players they are willing to loan and which are willing to come here and then it's up to us.
All predictions of a dismal performance in the transfer market by many appear to becoming true. Its obvious now that we are not really going to spend any significant money on players, that Ehab is going to pocket the money and Slutsky seems resigned to obtaining a few back up players to cover for injury. Can't believe that he came to the club based upon that being it.
It'll be the same as most windows..... We will have a rush on deadline day, I'm starting to think deadline day drama and the spotlight being on ehab is another thing he rather quite likes
I wouldn't say our performance in the market has been dismal. Granted we've not spent a lot of money but the success of a transfer window doesn't depend on what you spend, it's all about who you bring in
Agreed - There's some decent low cost signings/freebies out there. I would like us to spend some wedge on a striker, if that's all we spend, add to our armoury and goals.
I'd rather see a good creative winger/attacking midfielder come in. Granted we could do with another striker but Abel and Frazier will score
