Y. Bizarre (and I'm not just saying this because it's us). The very fact that you've verbally told your club, and/or have gone on 'strike', should be legally sufficient to negate any loyalty payment imo. At least with Torres we got the full £50m, they paid the agents AND he put in a TR. With Suarez, they bartered down the price by £10m and told the world later, we paid the agent's fees AND we paid the loyalty bonus (but barca issued a nice statement saying how much they 'respected' us, at the same time crowing about the £10m and us paying all the fees). That is why I'd prefer to sell to anyone else but Barca, but if he's going and they have £198m in their pocket, but FSG overrule Jurgen and let him go for anything less than £130m this club will be ****ing meltdown. And before you point out the hypocrisy I'll do it myself but counter that we have always paid the asking price and more to Soton, something Barca need to do for once in their existence.
