It's hard to believe that this "transfer rumours" thread has run to 38 pages and been almost completely devoid of meaningful content. I read on, more in hope than anticipation.
This is because QPR fans live in hope, and when reasons for hope are in short supply, we invent a fantasy world. JK Rowling might as well write the season preview in tomorrow's match day magazine
Yeah we don't want to get like tEd and his mates at 'Fantasy Island' where a mate of a mate of a mate knows someone who is a milkman that drives a taxi that knows someone who saw a bloke that looked like Neymar in Nandos in Shepherds Bush.
It's called desperation. We'll get a better idea of how desperate we need to be tomorrow. Reading will be tough proposition
Agree tough game tomorrow. Yet most of the stuff I have seen by Reading fans seem believe it will be a 1-1 result. Reading are a funny team, they rely on that Kermit bloke for goals and the have a shocking defense but they always seem to get a result. Last season when we won at their place I thought before the game that we would lose. We could have won 3-4 nil. They pass it about well but go nowhere. Not sure they will do as well this time.
On the QPR podcast this week they spoke to a Reading fan who described us as their bogey team. He said games at HQ usually finish 1-1 and at their place we tend to win by the odd goal. Let's get optimistic WE ARE NOT GOING TO LOSE TOMORROW
Yes, I agree Ellers. I can't believe they were a penalty or two away from the Prem. I thought they were pretty poor every time I saw them.
If form at the end of last season means anything, they won 7 in 9. We lost 7 in 8. I'd take a point now!
I do recall a Marc Bircham interview saying we wanted to get all our transfer business completed early this window. Ooops
"It's hard to believe that this "transfer rumours" thread has run to 38 pages and been almost completely devoid of meaningful content." Very true. We should all apply for a sports job at one of the tabloids. We could be very successful.
I've long been suspicious that he's actually crap. His own dad won't have him as a squad player at Villa.

Played for Holloway, who reckoned he was PL standard (though his record doesn't support this) at Blackpool. Rumour has legs.
