If I ever caught anybody abusing a dog, I'd honestly wrap a dog chain around their necks. I'd take the dog off them there and then too.

My brother has a staffy, he's the family dog and is 10 or 11 now. Absolute diamond he is.

I was a police dog handler in the RAF so had various different GSD's over the years, don't have a dog now, don't have the time. Once the kids all up and leave I'll get a dog then.

Miss doing the attack work, superb buzz.
Never knew you were a ground sheet mate.

Of the canine variety

Do you own one? If not do you want one?

What you got? What do you want?

Where did you get it?

How much did you pay?

I haven't had one for a few years, last one was a collie. Great dog and very protective of my kids. Got given him by my FIL.

Want one now, mainly for outside due to disabled lad. But the prices are ridiculous. £1800 for a bulldog and £700+ for a Doberman or a boxer. That's for a puppy.

Want a puppy so its temperament is known from the off.

Post pics if you can
Why would you buy one? Get to a rescue centre and get one for free. Were you planning to enter a pedigree competition like Crufts?

Bumping this thread as I mentioned earlier in it how I hate the reputation that staffies get.

Mentioned that my pal had a pitbull cross staff who was one of best dogs with kids I've seen.

Fully trusted him around my lad when he was first crawling and crawling all over him.

Anyway, this is him:

****ing quality dog, don't get me wrong is mean as **** if told to be or people he knows are threatened and you wouldn't want him going for you. But he's good as gold and an absolutely brilliant family dog.

Got two long haired chawawas from the human society . Went down looking to get a dog and they would only let the two go together to the same home because they came in together from the same home .so we bit the bullit and took bothWas a bit leery at first but now that we've had them a few years , we would be lost without them

Love dogs. Always had one or more when I was growing up, and my kids grew up living with dogs too.

Mine have always been Labs or Retrievers, both great with kids.

Now, as luv alluded to, they're too much of a tie.

I nearly killed a dog on Thursday. Wish I had tbh, feel like killing the owner too.
