tiling is such a job but it is worth it over the course of time. Tile the whole thing imo... but back breaker.
Go for shower boards avoids mould on the grout if you use tiles. Easier to clean and the cost difference between decent tiles and shower boards is not that great.
Obviously tiles except in the shower area where boards are better. Also if it is a decent sized bathroom use big tiles to make it look even bigger. We are getting our bathroom done in September and have gone for shower boards for the shower and 60cm sq tiles, should look brill, if the sod doing it ever shows up as he originally came out in April!
Well I certainly agree with bigger tiles, the amount of working in cutting and fitting isn't necessarily much less but the amount of overall work is less if you are confident in them staying up.
Apparently with the larger tiles you have to use a special adhesive, not the normal tile adhesive, not that I will be doing them myself.
Opening night tonight for the musical the girls are in. Should be fun to see. They're doing "Anything Goes" which is a so much better play than the "Shrek" crap the Children's theatre company put on last year. Was quite happy when I heard it was anything goes this year. Neither has a major part, those always go to the teenagers, but still fun to see them perform, the theatre company does a good job preparing them; much better than the crap the schools force us to endure.
