As fingers says, they generally have three dishes to choose from with, I think, a vegi option. Chilli's are always an ingredient it seems.

Our lass has a large sausage (snigger) when we were last there.

Children playing on the ruins of the recently renovated Beverley Gate has stirred a hotbed of debate.

Youngsters have been spotted climbing over the historic monument as parents watch on, sparking outrage from campaigners who fought to save it.

In a poll run by the Mail, 87 per cent of readers said they thought it was wrong children were using it as a playground.

Hull City Council has today asked people not to climb on the walls, and to respect the site.

Writing on the Mail's Facebook page, Suzanne Priestley said: "For what the lengths some have gone to preserve it, I think

its dishonouring them and our history, kids have parks for this reason."

Chris Slight agreed, saying: "This isn't kids being kids, it's about parents and their kids having absolutely no sense of respect for property especially when it's not their own."

However, Kirby Adams, disagreed, saying: "It seems like everyone forgets they were once kids. City of Culture has made people stuck up.

"Did you not climb on such things as kids? Scrape your knees etc? It's better for kids to be outside."

Miserable looking northerners wanted to be extras in new film
Alex Stewart said: "I was once, and some may say still am a child. And I loved to climb on stuff when I was younger, even though I was petrified of everything. However, on something like the Beverley Gate? No. It's too historically important to be used as a climbing frame."

A spokeswoman for the authority said: "Beverley Gate is of huge historical importance to the city, so much so that Historic England designated it a Scheduled Monument last year.

"We would ask that people respect the monument and refrain from climbing.

"The existing and refurbished blue plaque and new information board will soon be erected in the area offering more information on the monument.

"However, due to its historical significance, there are no plans to attach more keep off signs to the Beverley Gate ruins."

Needs an education piece, bet most of them doing this don't know what it is and think it's a playground.

It is slightly disrespectful. I think rebuilding the gate as the entrance to Whitefriargate would have been the best thing to do

We went in yesterday just before teatime. They explained they were preparing for first ever Vegan night, so only had chilli dishes on the menu. Mrs A didn't fancy a chilli, so we didn't stay. What non chiili options do they normally do, as I do fancy going?

Don't know why I put slightly, It is extremely disrespectful, but shows the ignorance that some people have for the history of this City

Siemens have submitted a planning application, to site the wind turbine blade which formed an art installation in Hull, at the entrance of Siemens factory on Hedon Road.

They've also submitted a planning application for several large extensions to their factory, and a larger concrete apron in the front if it. Things must be going well.

Why oh why can't the lights on the Castle Street pedestrian crossing let folk across both carriageways in one go?

Was crossing yesterday in the pissing rain, you get to the middle then you get soaked both front and back by trucks flashing by at 30-40 mph while you wait for the 2nd green man.
