    FABRICATE - Goodwood - 1:50 - 22/1

What a migraine this race is. Fabricate has some top level form but all over 1m 3 to 1m 6. This will surely be run at a rattling pace so happy to chance that he'll be staying on better than most - paddy paying 5 places

Morning all - despite the wave if public fervor for Frankie and BO evens isn't doing it for me - I'm on US Army Ranger to lay within 3 lengths and tap him for toe towards the line .... and then I wake up
?? Let's enjoy the afternoon followed by Bayern v lpool
    Best of luck to all

Cor bally blinkin’ blimey and as one of those Chav types might say, ‘What’s occurring?!?’. The Goodwood Cup on a bloomin' Tuesday, I say ,a bloomin' Tuesday! To use a ‘top table’ analogy that’s akin to having Beef Stew and Dumplings on a Friday!

Somewhat sweet that they’ve turned this ‘Audi Cup’ thing into a fully fledged Cup comp with a Final and even a 3rd/4th team play-off tomorrow.

I see the first major piece of silverware ('The Emirates Cup') this term though went to The Arsenal, people. First of many, pilgrims, first of many…

Bizarre how a team can win both their games but lose the trophy to a team that wins one and loses one. Almost as pathetic as your **** of an owner who thinks he is a "big man" when he has a gun in his hand. What a total prick!

He’s not the owner, Stick, he’s the majority shareholder. But I’m no fan of the chap, myself, either before or after this news breaking. He’s as bad as those abhorrent Saxe-Coburgs who will shortly be on their way to Balmoral, all expenses paid, to massacre the local wildlife for a few weeks.

Calm down though, old boy. You can’t lament an outcome if everyone knew the rules from the outset. The Arsenal hardly changed the rules with 5 minutes to go!

No chance of that being overturned at any low profile meeting.

For the last couple of years, this has been Not So Glorious Goodwood. Placepot punters should just follow my selections—last year everything I backed came second, third or fourth. The last winner I backed was Toormore in the 2015 Lennox Stakes!

Leaving the Lennox Stakes alone this year so I cannot be blamed for jinxing Dean Ivory’s runner. Last year I did Home Of The Brave – second. Just for the record, the last time Limato ran over 7 furlongs was last year’s Prix de la Forêt (1400m), which he won with Suedois three and half lengths third on good ground not the 2015 Park Stakes.

Whilst Seahenge is the better drawn of the two principals in the Vintage Stakes it is hard to fancy him or Expert Eye at the prices. The first time blinkers put me off Zaman, who is arguably the form pick after finishing close to Gustav Klimt, so the curse of the QM selection goes to MILDENBERGER, making the trek down from Middleham for the trainer who is always amongst the winners at this meeting.

Oriental Fox will probably go and turn Big Orange over in the big race as that and the two year old debutant Lake Volta are the only other Johnston runners today.

Maybe Johnston is at Beverley for Valley of Rocks in the 4:20.

Is Finger Lakes on ATR today? There is some serious action there – Race 7 at 20:52, a six furlong claimer: Bella The Bandit. I have seen a ‘free pick’ for it from Racing Dudes!
