    Good Morning Everyone

Leeds are lining up the signing of former Ajax starlet Ouasim Bouy.

Leeds plan is to sign him, then immediately send him out on loan to a Spanish club.

The 24 year old caught of Juventus in 2012, unfortunately since then his form has dipped, and the Italian giants are looking to get rid of him.

    Thoughts?

Bologna defender Filip Helander is not Leeds United's first choice centre-back target, it has been claimed.

Bologna have got as many centre backs as Leeds have midfielders, and are open to the idea of selling the Swedish international. Leeds are said to be interested, but is not a first choice target.

Morning all. Elland your take on Ouasim Bouy is slightly wrong mate. He was bought by Juventus back in 2012 because he was seen as the future. He has been loaned out every season of his 5 at Juve, and to many top Dutch & Spanish teams where he has performed well even scoring plenty of goals. In the last 5 years Juve have had countless managers & board members so priorities change. His contract has run out so he's now a a free agent. He will be loaned out to our partner club in Spain as thanks for them allowing 2 of their kids to come to us. We have a relationship at the club and input into coaching. Bouy will come to us next season as a top CB

Morning all. Despite all the changes in personnel, I’m strangely subdued about coming season. A flyer of a start this weekend, might help change that

morning, thanks for another quality breakfast debate ... I've also heard that Helander is not a priority target for Leeds, this may be a ploy to force the price down ... however, with our leak proof management who knows hey

Ossyboy was signed to a five year contract at Juventus when he was just 19, so that shows how highly they rated him ... he was duly loaned out to gain experience, but a serious knee injury hampered him ... Leeds feel he is worth a long term deal, and he will be loaned out to CDL to help him grow again ... our affiliation with CDL is starting to bear fruit, and Ossyboy is a good example where we will have a player getting game time at a good level rather than pottering around in the U23s ... what a transformation at our club, and this is another example of things being done properly

Funnily enough I feel exactly the same, not the usual buzz. Maybe it's the uncertainty that the new signings are gonna be any good. It's been like a more expensive version of the Cellino model, buy from lower foreign leagues and hope they turn out good. Time will tell.

Well hope a couple of you have cheered up by end of September ffs

Last season our first 7 games got us 8 points & we went on to finish 7th

If we can get between 12 & 14 points from same 7 games will you be happier than last season because I will be. 21 points on offer for those 7 games & we know our shoddy 8 points last season was seen as a sacking offence.

Hope I have too Doc. Hard to get excited at my age anyway but a few positive performances will Change all that. After all, it’s only speculation on everyone’s part until the squad start playing meaningful games

You seem to have forgotten our end of season woes. We finished 18 points from autos, and events in the summer wont have improved the results...

Suspect Rad went with the existing LUTV set up. He now realises it's a crock of ****e.

    So you're clairvoyant now?

Why not just go with the flow, keep your pessimism to yourself, and hopefully get a nice load of surprises as the season unfolds?
