    Its been a good battle. Both teams set up well, not too adventurous, but not too cagey. Should be an interesting 45 mins coming up.

    It is good that someone new will win it this time. More competition in the game can only be a good thing. France were technically superior compared to England tonight, however England rode their luck, were very committed and took their chances. Women's football may not be perfect but it is good to see it taking off more widely like women's cricket.

    It did seem like watching England's men where they got deeper and deeper and then hoofed it clear. Fortunately in the last ten England pushed up and France ran out of energy and ideas.

    England are good in defence....only conceding 1 goal in 4 games. And can score goals given a chance. Helps having Germany and France both out now....and remember we beat both of them. Have a good chance, but tough game against the home side coming up.
