Grew into that well. Thought Boufal was decent today. Austin does not work as an AM, think JWP is going to be the starter there, looked much more balanced when he came on. Two assists for Targett, one of which was a good all academy goal. But the true game winning decision was clearly bringing Taylor on. Nailed on player of the season!

 

If JWP plays that position this season he will get goals for sure, he has the happy knack of being in the right place in the penalty area.

 

We need to get rid of Gardos

Now let's not get carried away with this result. A win against Augsburg on Wednesday will surely confirm us as title contenders. It doesn't matter if we get battered by Sevilla though as pre-season friendlies don't matter.

 

Obviously a huge gap between them but his developing knack of arriving at the right time in the box reminds me of Lampard.

I know, he just needs to learn how to deflect the ball off 3 defenders, the fourth official and Klopp's glasses and still get it in, then I will believe he is the next Super Frankie Lampard.
