Without knowing exactly details of what went down it seems from the outside that the us deal was ****ed by the Allams but the Chinese bid accepted with them fully prepared to get rid with it being Ballsed at the Chinese end
What does it matter if they are on holiday. With modern technology you are never out of touch. Any deals being worked on behind the scenes shouldn't be affected...unless of course its being used as an excuse for a further delaying tactic...just the same as last year!
This time last year we were about to play Leicester. We had only one centre half , Elmo at right back and diomonde on the left wing and only kids in the bench oh and no manager .. I thought we would lose 5or 6 Nil So this year is like luxury just a left back missing

If it wasnt, how come clubs can identify a player on transfer deadline Day and complete it the same day!! I doubt very much that no deals will take place next week, just because the scum is on his holidays. I think Slutsky comments may be taken out of context. I think he means that any new signings will not be ready for Villa, not that they won't be signed. I expect a couple on loan on the 1st or 2nd as he previously said. That means they will have first training session on the Wednesday, so not really ready to start on Saturday. I think we have enough for a draw at Villa with the current squad

Ye, it's a couple of Chelsea players by all accounts. They land back on Monday from Asia, so the earliest you'll get them is Tuesday/Wednesday. Slutsky didn't seem too impressed at how far off Hector is.
What leftbacks do they have left to loan us ? Not digging just curious, i know they had jay dasilva but not sure what other youngsters they have available who play there
