I've gone with Chelsea 3-2. Such a special day for me. We were behind at half time and looking like relegation was a certainty, then came out second half and turned them over. The atmosphere was electric that day, one of the best I've witnessed and to have my daughter with me was just the icing on the cake.
I spoilt that day for myself. I got too pissed and its all a blur to me. We could have had Quinn and Phillips upfront and id have been none the wiser.
I've got a short memory for football matches and the recent win against Chelsea was a fantastic game that I can't remember being beaten for sheer adrenaline and joy.
I have said it before but I had my little lad with me, just me and him, and it was only his second game. Best atmosphere I have witnessed. I was quite emotional at one point.
The Sheffield Utd Play off game for me. Oddly my favourite at Roker Park was also against them when we won 6-2 and, oddly Alex Sabella was everybody's MotM.
Gone for the Burnley game. Such highs and lows, missed penalties, and finished off an incredible season. Also arguably one of the best ever solo efforts scored st the SOL by Edwards.
The West Brom night match, the great escape complete was a belter, probably the best atmosphere I've witnessed, out of those above, Chelsea 3-2
4-0 up at halftime. I thought we were gonna score 6 or 7 that game! The second half was such an anti-climax! Mind, stuffing them 3-0 at their place was just as good!
I've gone Burnley but I'd say 3-1 v Spurs with Bent missing 2 pens. Was electric that day and the game was breathless.
1st of all can I say "what a c*nt of a question that is" to try n pick just one. All memorable for different reasons but think I will opt for the Burnley gane with Edwards screamer. I reserve the right to change my mind over the next few days tho.
Burnley match for me.. The Derby County 2-1 in 2006/07 promotion season, we were on our run and they were top of the league, Liam Miller grabbed the winner on the stroke of full time and the place erupted, brilliant atmos all game. They had this up and coming wonder kid called Giles Barnes iirc, about 18 at the time and was brilliant for them in midfield. Never hear about him now but he was being touted as the next big superstar at the time..
