Yes a very good read, thanks for that. That goal is one of my all time favourites, just sublime skill. After watching it maybe a hundred times I'm still excited by the brilliance of it but also a little sad that we are unlikely to have someone that good play for us again. As another reminder of the aging process and the pace of technology, I have this game on VHS. I only ever watched the once as despite the nine goals it's not an especially good game and the video is not helped by the god awful commentator present on this clip.
Yes, I remember that commentator. Jeez, he was awful, and thankfully, often inaudible. Sounded like an apprentice who never made it past the first year.
