I was wondering when someone was going to mention young Maja, he surely has a claim to a place, on his form to date, he is our best striker after Lens.
No he wasn't. Played well for a month then ****ing injured again. Remember people on here telling me give bridcock and Buckley a chance when we signed them as well. Sorry some players are just ****.
I think Maja will play a big part this season but hes only 18 so he cant be expected to be thrown straight into the first team as our first or second choice striker.
I hope the bloke proves me wrong but the reading fans didn't think much of him and the journo for reading Courtney friday doesn't think much of him to.
I agree with this, in part, but he does look ready and capable to make a name for himself now imo. Just hope he doesn't get pushed to the back of the queue.
Which shows we're not quite the basket case some would wish us to believe. This is about the best we can expect to sign in the current situation. Newcastle, at the same point, signed Daryl Murphy for £5 million. I'd much rather have Grabban tbh.
If that's the Mag lover, Sunderland hater Graham Courtney of Talk Sport infamy, to coin a phrase, he would say that wouldn't he.
I was happy about this deal until i saw that Wolves have just signed Diogo Jota from Atletico Madrid on loan. Ffs its going to be a tough league to get out of.
It's not him pal. It was on roker report and by the way I can't stand that Courtney bloke from talkshit.
@SkySports_Keith Striker Lewis Grabban will undergo a medical at Sunderland tomorrow ahead of a season-long loan move from Bournemouth.
Friends, Friends TUD, surely you mean colleagues?. Like yourself I have acquaintances ( in a non gay way) who support Newcastle and having worked down Boro for a good few years I have a few mates down there so wouldnt mind seeing them do well. As long as we finish top of the 3 of course.
Very weird to make these two statements together... McCormack's last 2 clubs - 3 in 20 for Villa, 1 in 7 for Forest. He was playing a hell of a lot more than Grabban too. McCormack - 1,597 minutes, 4 goals, 2 assists Grabban - 865 minutes, 3 goals, 3 assists Grabban directly involved in a goal almost twice as often as McCormack. I'd rather Grabban. McCormack's form has dropped off a cliff.
Why? I'd never heard of him until five seconds ago... had you? (genuine question, not having a dig) A quick Google search shows he scored 8 in 27 in Portugal last year, pretty much league 1 standard outside of the top 2/3. I'd rather have Grabban who's proven in this league, than take a risk on a youngforeign lad who's never played in England. Many players coming from abroad sturggle to adjust to the pace / physicality of the league, I doubt this lad will do **** all next year.
Yes i do and did know who he was. I thought he was quality against Leicester last season in the Champions league for Porto.
