well given you were talking about on field discipline when they were talking about off field unethical antics with underage players and van dijk tapping up i can see why. luckily this board are all big and ugly enough to never ask a mod to get shut of anyone
Good news & bad news on Liverpool’s Naby Keita pursuit http://www.empireofthekop.com/2017/07/24/good-news-bad-news-on-liverpools-naby-keita-pursuit/
ah thats nothing... he should break the other lads leg. standard practice. If a team mate thinks thats ok its a pretty poor dressing room.
Southampton captain Virgil van Dijk has not been included in their squad for a training camp in France this week. The defender, 26, has been strongly linked with a move to Liverpool, although the Anfield club said they ended their interest last month. Southampton say they do not want to sell the Netherlands international. Saints boss Mauricio Pellegrino said last week that Van Dijk had been training alone because he feels the player is "not 100%" mentally. Van Dijk, who joined Southampton in 2015 from Celtic, travelled with his team-mates for a pre-season tour in Austria earlier this month but has been left out of Pellegrino's 25-man squad heading to France. Southampton will play Saint Etienne in a friendly on Saturday as they prepare for their Premier League opener at home to Swansea City on 12 August.
I agree. the long its left the less fit the guy will be and the less time klopp would have to work up a defensive system with him. just learning the systems of play klopp repeats and repeats with the players will take a month and we don't have that now.... so.. yeah by all means get any way you can but if you wait till southampton call we would have seen hell frozen over and a pig flying.
and if we do buy him what's the betting that the injury turns out to be worse than thought & causes ongoing problems.
Is he actually all that? I watch the odd highlights package of German football but I don't really know tbh.
