I'm going to stick my head above the parapet here ... I still think VVD will be here next season. If Saints bow down to the dirty scouse bastards now, then they'll lose everything in my opinion.

The thing some on here don't get is I could support Weymouth and I'd be the exact same person, I could even be a Saints fan and be the same person. I get the impression some dislike me purely due to me supporting Liverpool. Let's be honest that's an absolute shocker of decision on so many levels

Even his comments today were quality, he's clearly a boss that doesn't mince his words or actions. Klopp did the same with Sakho due to Sakho playing up in preseason and being late for planes etc. Sakho is quality, but Klopp is boss. It seems your manger is of a similar stock.

Tbh if Sakho would take a slight wage cut and agreed a move to Southampton you'd have yourself a seriously good defender. He pretty much kept Crystal Palace up last season, guy was a monster.

I do really rate Sakho, as I've said plenty of times, he just wants way too much money.

We won't be bring him in to be our top earner, no ****ing chance... not the way we do things at all.

Not sure he's the right personality for us either.

 

Sadly, I agree. He would be a good player for us, Attitude and wage is too much of an issue.
