I'd say The group's will be piss easy to get out of for sure and really it will be a pointless qualificaton system if they dont just have a simple play off type thing to drop half the really **** teams. They are at least not taking in middle east etc and keeping it to the continent itself which is only right and proper
That would be about right, trying to sign keita and vvd, lose ford out the back door for half price, and get neither

Liverpool boosted as Africa Cup of Nations to become a summer tournament from 2019 Africa Cup of Nations moved to June and July and expanded to 24 teams The 2019 Africa Cup of Nations will be held in June and July, the Confederation of African Football has confirmed. The tournament is usually held in January and February, causing disputes with European clubs who had to release players in the middle of the season. The 2019 event in Cameroon will be contested by 24 teams, instead of 16. The changes were rubber-stamped by the CAF executive committee in a meeting in the Moroccan capital Rabat. Africa's flagship sporting event has featured 16 teams since 1996. The expansion of the tournament could create problems for Cameroon, which will host the next finals, with the Central African nation's sports minister having to deny reports that preparations were behind schedule. The competition will continue to be held every two years, in Africa and only with African countries. Caf was considering whether to allow countries from other continents to compete - or even host the tournament. The announcements follow a two-day symposium organised by Caf president Ahmad to discuss the state of African football. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/40670308
Coutinho isnt for sale, especially at a laughable price like £72 million. However we are in the same situation with Keita, he clearly isnt for sale and we need to move on.
If we sell Coutinho at any price, we are dismantling our team just like Kieta club selling him. What is good for the goose is good for the gander,
Like we all expected the Spanish have come calling. To be fair their opening bid was more than I expected. I could see them going up to £85-90m. Which the club will have to consider as he is IMO not in that price bracket. Pogba is more of a playmaker than Cout but our player scores more goals. But the problem we have is that even with £90m who can we get as replacements? Two inferior players with overinflated prices. We all know what happened when we let our key players go for record prices. All in all not worth disrupting our team for. We have to believe that he won't be sold at any price.

Pogba js more a playmaker than Cout? You sure on that one? £90m this late in window would make it tricky. We'd have to identify a target and then pay over inflated price for them. No chance he's going this year, he's not one to kick up a fuss and his value will only go up in next couple years while he has 5 years still left on his contract. In barca come in next summer with bid around that amount then they may consider it with more time to identify a replacement.
72 million for Coutinho 75 million were bidding for Keita. If that doesn't show we can get more value with our money i don't know what will.
If Keita turns out to be the player Klopp thinks and bosses our midfield for years to come then he'd be far more important than Coutinho, especially considering we have very good players that could fit into Couts position. At this stage we can't sell Coutinho though as we need to know for sure that Keita is the man to build a team around. If FSG sell Coutinho to fund Keita they're mugging the fans off totally.
