And? I'm fully aware of what we've done. Nobody is aware of deals being struck behind the scenes. Campbell came out of nowhere and wasn't leaked, nothing even in the media until a deal was signed. More will come, why are people so worried they won't?
Leeds is within the Manchester commuting area for a footballer so a player who lives near Manchester can get to Merseyside/Burnley/Stoke/Sheffield/Leeds without moving home Middlesbrough have a more sensible chairman and he backs his manager Newcastle are backing their manager now Sunderland have the same problem as Hull with it's relative isolation
I think people know more deals will be done they just dont think they will have any quality - just last minute panic deals signing players nobody wants or has heard of
I don't give a **** about the players who have left ultimately, I thought we should have offloaded Elmo & Hudds last season, when it looked like they were not going to be here anyway, but then the whole **** up of last season happened & I was actually relieved that we'd not let them go on frees. This year they're gone, Robbo & Harry were always going, Davies a bit of a shock as I think he's better than Daws, not the greatest of losses though & Jak, well probably the only one I'm gutted about, but it is an area we're not short of, although we are short of quality there. The thing that's pissed me off & probably most City fans is the ****ed up pre season, AGAIN! It's alright saying the window doesn't close until September & we'll judge it then, by then it could already be too late, oh yeah deadline day drama for Ehab's on SSN, so he can bring in new Players, he said, along with Slutsky, they would/ wanted players in by the 3rd. More BULLSHIT, not that I'm surprised after last season, but I thought someone, somewhere at the club would have realised panic buying at the last minute is ****ing stupid. More than likely we'll end up with at least another GK & a couple of midfielders on the day, then the whole defence gets injured & they all turn round & go, "didn't see that coming!"
Agree, but it's perceived to be a bit isolated, by people who've never been, so they don't come and find out any different.
The only things you missed are 1. no matter who we sign and what they cost some will come and say, see the Allams are investing millions in the team. The only way we will be sold is by getting into the Premier League and their going for promotion. 2. These new signings will have had no pre season together, get thrown in at the deep end and perform like a bunch of strangers.
As we did last time we were relegated. We had a stable management team and retained almost all of the players Brucie wanted. This time its an absolute shambles and getting worse as each day goes by.
I don't buy the "players don't want to come to Hull" either, why would South American internationals like Geovanni and Hernandez have bothered? It'll be the Championship bit that raises eyebrows.
