Sorry just checked the facts, he's got two years left on his Sparta Prague contract. So he'd cost money. I've heard Kent has rejected Leeds, there's still another club interested.
He started following Aina on Twitter today if that means anything. He also seems good mates with Kevin Stewart.
Seems weird he's training with us if we haven't bought him but hopefully that's a good sign. I saw something about Kent picking leeds but that sounds like rubbish.
It's not unusual for players who aren't wanted by their clubs to be allowed to join other clubs in the hopes of going there. Gives them a better shot at moving, I don't think Sparta want him anymore.
Would it just extend to training or can we play him in friendlies too? Not sure how that works with risk of injury etc.
Fair enough. Wouldn't have surprised me if you were interested in Roofe, good player with potential to improve but we have so many attacking options at the moment. He'll still probably be in our first team. Think the fee would still be rather large. Jansson is a different case though. There has been a fair amount of talk of him replacing Van Dijk if he goes. But that fee we paid for him was miles under his actual value as it was agreed last year, can't see any club in the championship being able to afford him.
