Andy Robertson. is for now and the future, Klopp is going to mould him. Milner will still play LB occasionally.
RB Leipzig Valued Keita £70, when you put a price on on a player without release clause, it does not mean you are ready to part with the player even if the valuation is met. Maybe for the last time Liverpool should go back with higher bid.
Go on then, I'll stump up £70. Means I'm sacrificing an evening at my local Chinese, and the dog will have to eat tinned food rather than the boiled lambs' hearts he's become accustomed to.
Deal for Andy Robertson ends a frustrating search at left-back for #LFC. Roma's Emerson was wanted before his injury goal.com/en/news/11/tra…
There are suggestions Naby Keïta’s agent is in Hong Kong to talk to Liverpool about whether they will make another bid. (@AHunterGuardian)
Not sure who the agent is. But the issue isn't between player and LFC, but with RBL. Unless we're telling Keita to force the move
Well... its "allowed" to talk general to an agent" but not to talk direct to the player I would say that if the agent really is talking to LFc in hong kong there is a guy who is absolutely desperate to get his cut of the action.... really its can you do anything your end now?
The preseason has already started and Klopp himself stated the importance of having a full preseason with the team (and players). If we sign someone with 1% (i.e. 31st Aug) of the window remaining, the season would have already started, said player will have no bedding-in and it is likely to be a panic buy of Andy Carroll proportions!
Klopp has also said waiting for the right players is more important than quickly getting players who don't improve our first XI. We have a strong, settled team used to his tactics. Much easier to accommodate a couple of quality additions than the tactical overhaul needed when Klopp first joined.
The bottom line is... We need to either get the agent to sort his player out to move or offer £70mil as a final offer. Failing that forget it and look for someone else. We can't let this drag on much longer it's getting ridiculous now. I think we bid 70mil and if it's turned down go back to the original idea of getting a top quality DM and let Cout and Lallana play in a midfield 3. Someone like William Carvalho would have been a good start (although I think we could get better). This LB thing is ****ing stupid too. We've relied on getting our top targets done and skimped on a LB, now to (probably) find out our top targets won't come and we're left with a bang average LB. It makes me wonder what the **** some of our back room staff see, if they don't realise we seriously needed quality on the left. Yet now we have Milner as our number 1 and some two-bob LB that even YouTube can't make look good. I know there's '68%' of the window left, but as things stand is a ****ing joke. The reason Klopp has mentioned being really positive and Sturridge etc. is because he knows he's made some pretty obvious errors this window and he's hoping the fans fall for his optimistic bollox. ^^^^ #rant
