Pretty sure the wages and ambition on offer, the reputation of the manager, whether they have anyone they know already there and what they may say about it, the word of their agent, the reputation of the place and the club itself, all play a far larger role in whether a player would come to a club than the word of twenty odd people posting on a fans forum.
Wonder if this surprising transfer deal is for a defender, which we need, but surely it is the attackers that create the buzz. I just hope that finally the club are going to be busy like a bumble bee.
As I said in my very first post in the topic, I'm quoting the tweet you posted. I haven't seen anything else and If something else is said elsewhere that's different. All you needed to do was share the tweet when he said what you're quoting and it would've stopped there
I have it on good authority we've had things lined up by haven't been able to finalise. The fraud squad at the bank saw Ehab try to make an outgoing transaction and thought it was suspicious so froze the clubs account. All is now sorted - Ehab apparently convinced them he did want to sign players - and business will be done.
I was thinking the other day that Gomez would be a good loan signing, needs games, and been part of a winning (hopefully ) team will be good for his confidence. I would also like us to go for Flanagan too (as a permanent signing not a loan), wasn't great last season, but would be great in Championship and with plenty of potential for premiership
Remy from Chelsea now a possibility Remy, Frazier, Abel would be some strike force in the championship
