Yeah but it's alright isn't it? Plus McGregor was at fault for one of the goals yesterday according to reports.
I think alot of people are expecting low quality cheap signings thats why were ****ed off, have you seen the players were linked too most of them are young unproven loanees, heres a question for those who moan about people being concerned is it still ok if we sign 10 players next week but who are not of the quality the parachute payments etc would allow for a promotion bid, basically the allams taking the piss doing things very very cheaply
If this isn't the time for panicking then when is? We've zero indication anything is happening coming in, of the 11 who started at Everton less than 4 months ago, only 2 will be left once Jak and Robbo get their moves. If thats not the systematic demolition of our club then what is? We could bring in 10-15 good players yet, but we all know the chances of that. I'd love to be proved wrong.
I wouldn't. I'd have done everything to hang onto Jakupovic and ship either one or both McGregor and Marshall out.
Looks like jakupovic is leaving and i agree with you about keeping him as our number one but thats now looking not likely Out of mcgregor and marshall id have marshall, just needs to settle in Old glass backs mistakes are glaring
Dozens of clubs are now far more attractive propositions then us. The only way we're going to sign quality players is by paying above market wages and of course that is not an option.
I had a good chat with a Cardiff fan at a recent gig. He knew loads of Hull City fans - I'm sure he was a football hooligan other than the fact he had 'Soul Crew' tattooed on his arm. Anyway, he said Marshall was well on the downward slope when, his words - they fleeced us. Nothing like the player he was in the PL. certainly looks that way based on the evidence presented to us last season.
I'll panic when the season starts and we're in the same position we are now. But that isn't going to happen. Slutsky isn't stupid and as much as I'll regret this, Ehab isn't either. A club rotting at the arse end of the Championship isn't going to make him any money, it certainly isn't an attractive proposition for buyers. His generator company isn't doing that well either by the sounds of it, so it's in his best interests to ensure his other business is successful. The people working to bring players in don't involve Ehab so I don't think he's the problem vis a vie attracting players. He might be when it comes to contracts, but not with actually identifying targets. LS has said he's working to bring players in, two or three very close. So we'll go with that. He isn't going to lie. Of the 11 that started at Everton, nearly half were loan players and the rest were players we likely accepted would leave anyway. Is anybody shocked that Robertson, Clucas, Maguire et al are leaving? We said they would and that's what's happening (pathetic attempts at extending contracts aside). We've got Mason and Odubajo to come back, a few youth players we want to blood. I'd like to see a bit more experience come through the door and I expect it will. If you thought we were going to sign a ridiculous number of players, you were kidding yourself. A small squad means a small wage budget. We didn't go mental last time we came down, granted we kept most of the squad, wasn't the highest fee paid for Odubajo?
The new Head of Relegation is doing a fine job. No doubt new players are on the way but some people never learn. If nothing happens by the end of the week Slutsky should do a Brucey and walk. It will make no difference to the mess the club is in at the moment with this lad in charge.
Fair play, id say mcgregor though is very much at the bottom of the downward slope, drops glaring clangers and that glass back cant be good for his agility
I don't know why people keep talking about Mason and Odubajo, we'll be into the next transfer window before either are likely to have made an appearance.
If we are getting 2 million and a extra 250k for 25 games just shows in incompetent our chairmen is. He's going as a back up keeper so he will take 2 or 3 years to make that up.
Jak had one good season and all of a sudden he's a world beater... people only like him because he shows some passion I would still say he's not our best keeper at the club McGregor did well at Cardiff on loan last season
Ok so what happens if we sign bargain basement low quality? Which most fear we will, the concerns will be fully justified This board at the minute is those predicting we'l sign good players and are happy to wait And those who sense what ehab is doing and are concerned we'l sign a load of tosh I think given the current situation people have a right to be concerned as starting pre season friendlys designed to get your squad up to scratch and organised for the coming season with a thread bare squad with little defenders fully justifys people worrying, especially after last season, im not getting the people knocking the people who are concerned why do you get so irate with people?
Jakupovic's medical is on Tuesday in Hong Kong where #lcfc are going on tour. Deal to be signed there once personal terms are agreed #hcafc
