Just read in the Daily Mail that we had scouts at an Everton reserve match against West Brom, apparently there to watch Yakubu who scored in a 2 all draw.
I am undecided on whether or not it could be a good move for us (if true and we are interested )
Wasn't he at Leicester last year ?
    Thoughts ?

No speculation only. His wages would be sky high.

The Yak would be an improvement ! On what we've got.

great player...his only fault is he works too hard for the team and wears himself out after giving everything for the cause...I felt tired just watching the lad...60 grand a week, cheap.....get him in..

Would he? I seem to recall Leicester fans saying that to start with he was brilliant but he soon became lazy and disinterested. He only scored 2 more than Fryatt last season as well

He would be a SUPERB signing. Feed the Yak and he will score.

50k a week aparently, i personally was dissapointed in his displays, his goal/game ratio was also raised signifigantly by a hat-trick at m'boro.

When we got him, he'd been out of favour/injured for a while, un-fit, static, but saying all that, hes been very active in pre-season, knows where the net is, and i'd have him back here <ok>

To be fair, Everton have a hell of a lot of promising youngsters, it's a decent shout that we could well be in for one of their raw attacking talents.

As for the Yakubu link, it's a non-starter I'm afraid.
