I reckon he will want to play our 'first team' as far as possible to get them match fit before Old Trafford on Monday. If none of the injured players recover, and Kranjcar goes to Sunderland I can see us starting with Corluka and Van der Vaart in cental midfield - Charlie played there in South Africa pre-season didn't he?

The most disturbing part is there is absolutely zero chance of unloading JJ if he is injured. Modric, I expect, is fine; If he plays tonight he is unelligible for the early stages of the CL. I think old bacon face has done it again...

Yep the very same. Wouldn't surprise me one little bit if he has pulled a flanker on Chelski. As far as I understand, it excludes you until the knockout stages of the CL if you have played in the EL. maybe I'm wrong.
