I can still see the arsehole celebrating our win at the play off final, it's crystal clear now that he was celebrating the fact that he knew he'd recoup the Allam monies, by hook or by crook, over the next few seasons with that one victory.

I was also wondering when that would finally happen.

We've had a remarkable amount of interest in our players for a team that just got relegated, which makes it look like they are just being hawked around.

 

is this going to be another summer of, we won't spend anything, 3/4 "star" players leave at the last minute and we rush to try and get replacements?

I hope not if boy wonder thinks he can leave it till the last minute like he did last year, he's in for a nasty shock as a PL club we were always going to pick up fringe players from other PL/european clubs, i think he's maybe finding the championship a different "ball game" no doubt the word is out regards the going's on at city behind the scene with the owners/fan's , other clubs might/are reluctant to let there youngest/players, come here on loan and be exposed to the toxic atmosphere at the club, have to admit i'm now moving from " being concerned" to "being very worried" for the coming season.

 

Do you think the asking price would change just because the parent company liabilities were settled? Where did you make your millions?

 

If Assombolonga is 15 million we should be all over that. We will be lucky to pay 1.5 million. We have been in the Premier League a lot more than Middlesborough lately so our revenue should be some what higher, especially with the players we have sold. But we won't spend a fifth what they will.

1st team get a portacabin so the under 23's have to have something of a lower standard.

 

City struggling to attract players? hardly a surprise after last summer is it? It's almost like the footballing world was paying attention when the manager was forced to quit and the we started the season with 13 players.

Who in their right mind would want to join this circus if they've got other options?

Please please correct me if i'm wrong, but I think there is a caveat within the parachute payment which negates that money being used to pay off debts to the owners. Maybe I dreamt that...
