Does anyone one know if he has made a full recovery from injury? If he is 100% recovered, I think he'll do quite well in the Championship. Really bummed that I wont be able to see it though.

Played in the friendly last night so I expect so. Started up-front apparently?

I'm not getting why he's playing upfront but he's been doing well in general, don't see him as much of a goal threat but good team player.

Think a year in the Championship will do him good, looked like he had potential last year but needs a good run of games to develop.

From what I have seen of him he looks very composed with the ball at his feet and can put in some useful deliveries, I am looking forward to seeing more of him with Asoro and Maja upfront, it will depend on circumstances how much game time they get but these three have a great chance to push on our recovery. The two forwards could develop into a very useful partnership if they get a run together and could save us a lot of money in the long run.

When was he injured like? I remember him being injured towards the back end of the season but he played again before the season finished.

Why you going to miss next seasons games like fella? Gooch is part of that young group with Ndong, Watmore, Love and McNair where I expect all them to excel this season. I think Gooch is going to have a very good season.

I thought he injured his knee around the same time McNair did.

Yeah but he was fit before the season was out. He's started the last two games upfront. He's fit mate don't worry.

His mother serves drinks at a bar/restaurant near Santa Cruz, California, one hour south of SF. Big following there. Nice people.
