Still works for the Echo. Thought he got a bit of a raw deal personally as it became a bit of a witch hunt, even to the point where someone mentioned his real name and where he worked which I thought was a bit out of order. A fair few of his rumours didn't come to anything but at least it gave us something to talk about. He probably was only passing o0n things he'd heard through his echo contacts, and as we all know, some of the Echo transfer rumours seem to be picked out of thin air!!
They were heady days indeed, quite dark days pre-takeover too. I remember being gutted that one his rumours about signing Marcus Stewart from Ipswich never came off, think Im glad it didnt now....!!
I think it's a real shame when people get slated for passing on supposed info that turns out to be wrong. I'm extremely cynical about all self proclaimed "ITKs", and take all rumours with a pinch of salt, but if people think they have something to pass on it's daft to subject them to ridicule when they turn out to be wrong.
Yeah, exactly. I refuse to believe any of them til the club confirms it, but I still want to read them. It's barely July and I'm bored of cricket already.
"Crystal Palace, Southampton and West Ham" We really don't get one club mentioned in isolation anymore. It's like we're triplets, with Swansea as a slightly younger brother.
