I'm told he can play right back but I've never seen Rudiger do that, so to sign him as a rb would be odd.

 

Rudiger plays on the right. Presumably would be their right cb and potentially depth for rb. Now they have him they can let the other rb depth go.

 

That's bollocks. Ruediger ain't a right back and they certainly haven't brought him to play at wing back

 

I've never heard of the bloke because nowadays I only watch City games but the Independent suggest he most regularly played at right wing back even though he preferred to be left side of a back 3.

Fair enough I was wrong. He'll likely play on the right side of the back 3 at Chelsea. I don't think him and Aina are linked though. They'll probably sign another wing back too

 

I'd be surprised if they bought Ruidger to play RWB. From what I know about him (which is quite limited), he's predominantly a centre back who can play right back. If you look at Chelsea team, Moses at RWB would seem to be the weak link, but would seem odd to pay ~£40m to play someone out of position.

 

I reckon he'll play on the left side instead of Cahill, Azpile.... is too steady.

 

Yeah probably just a huge coincidence.
