Its not like he has only just become available <doh>

Frustrating as hell to watch the club make no effort on this one despite his obvious class.

Kranjcar is quality, will Spurs want to sell though whilst there is doubt over Modric? If Modric goes, Spurs will need the creative influence he offers. They've got Huddlestone, Sandro and Jenas but no CM with skill like Kranjcar (exc. Van der Vaart as he's more of a forward).

They are beginning to worry me with some of these signings, in saying that they bring in a new squad every summer and never seem to progress!!!

Very good signing, at least they are showing some ****ing ambition. God I hate Mike Ashley!

Why can't we spend some bloody money! Ashley is such a greedy *******. Yet again it's broken promises from the board. :(

Some are undoubtedly good players, but there is also a lot of mediocrity. Also buying squad players from Man U on high wages isn't the ideal blueprint for success, we've been there buying cast-offs and look where it got us.

But they are squad players. Our squad is thin and still lacking more quality in depth. We are not spending money despite trimming the wage bill and flogging players.

We have made 40 mil this year on selling players and we have spent about 10 million of it. It's not good enough.

Thats not a measure of progress. Thats is a measure of how we have fallen back. Give or take you seem to finish around the same 4 positions. We slipped from expected european contention to relegation, season in championship and last year a consolidatory season back in the prem. You havent really moved forward, we have merely fallen behind

Modric has pulled out of there game with Hearts cos of 'injury' and with Pienaar out for 6 weeks, this may not go through just yet if at all

Very unfair statement. If you think to where we were less than 10 years ago, setting record low points tallies, then beating our own record again, no money to put in the club, on the verge of administration and in the championship, to simply write off our undoubted improvement as "not moving forward" just smacks of unreasoned, anti SAFC bias.

Its not really, its realism. Sunderland have progressed, but had we stayed where we were without a certain **** ruining our club, you would still be miles behind. One thing is for sure though, I have to admire Sunderland's ambition, they have some! Wish our owners did.
