watched the interview with Tommy. I know a lot of danes. His English is worse than any of them.
"Are the new signings settling in?"
"we hope to announce something tomorrow"
"will the players get more time on the pitch on saturday?"
"There will be new players coming in and some will leave"
    "Thomas what day is today?"
    "Banana"

which season was that doc? Reports i read suggest toon fans are luke warm on him. He was crocked for a chunk of it, but played when carrying knocks, so he's a tryer with a good attitude.

Anita spent most of his career as a midfielder but was given right back role last season even though injured. Played 27 games for the barcodes, 25 at RB 2 in midfield. 130 appearances for Newcastle in 5 years. Gues you dont like him Milky oh and played for Holland at all levels except full international a product of Ajax

i haven;t seen enough of him to have an opinion Doc, but i too have access to wiki ! I'll give everyone a chance.

The few comments i read on him were that the fans liked his attitude but didn't rate him that highly... unfilled promise etc. Some tempered that with the fact that he wasn't fully fit last season...Just like I defend bridcutt sometimes because he wasn't fit for most of last season either. Hadn't read anyone say he had a great season but they were thankful he filled in at right back.

Milky the one thing that stood out last season, was Newcastle were light years ahead of everyone, class wise, all that played for them were class players so very happy with this signing.Cost Newcastle nearly £7 million pounds. Can play left back, right back or in midfield.looks like another Berardi to Me great signing.

Agree with you, solid signing for me. Thought people were saying we needed to sign players with championship experience, we do and there's still complaints. Did he play in the prem with Newcastle as well??

Yes and 6 years for AJAX and 4 games for Holland.Played left back for AJAX and I take it that's where he played for Holland, right back and midfield for Newcastle.

But the funniest is the neither do the juornos, that's why they're desperately hoping we sign Saiz and Alioski so they get something right. Radz has cut out any leaks from the club completely it seems <ok>

Who's complaining? Doc said he had a great season. My googling suggested the Newcastle fans weren't so sure he did. Just providing balance. I haven't seen much of him.

They see him as surplus to requirements for the Prem, doesn't mean he can't do a decent job in the championship... doesn't automatically make him w*nk material either.

A decent addition to the squad on a free, and Lower risk as he's settled in uk. How good a signing? Like all of them, only time will tell.

Apologies, when explained like that, it sounds much more like a good dose of realism, but at least we have one player in the squad that knows what it takes to be promoted? If I go overly optimistic, he dropped down from the prem to a team he thinks has a good chance of getting him back there?
