Have to disagree...he was pretty special there at times.

Well, Pogba was great in Serie A, Lacazette has been phenomenal in Ligue 1, possibly the leagues best player.
Pogba didn't really carry his form over to the PL, as of yet.
Remains to be seen whether Lacazette can.

 

Laca was nowhere near the best player in Ligue 1.

So have those guys but to say they are outright better is debateable.

Paul Pogba did not look "world class" to me last season, I'm afraid Matthew ... he looked like a pretty good footballer in snapshots ... but little more ...

In his career so far he has won titles with Juventus - however they have since won the league without him (and arguably were better too)... he could not orchestrate a French win in the European Championships so he hasn't really had a huge influence on the International stage either ... he's got a hell of a lot to prove to earn a "world class" rating rating IMHO buddy .. I was actually more impressed by Henrikh Mkititaryan than Pogba in the United games I watched last season ... the latter certainly looks better value for money at this stage. .

 

United have just agreed a £75m fee for Lukaku apparently ... @Matth_2014 please don't come on asserting that he's World Class buddy ... he has been absolute pants for Belgium at every major international tournament I have seen him play at

 

That £45m we paid for Lacazette is looking more and more like great business, after seeing Maureen shelling out £75m for Lukaku !

 

Indeed totally outshone by a small player who only cost £30 million.

 

Your entire team including Hazard were outshone the season before that by a boy who used to play for Stocksbridge Park Steels and a lad who cost £300k
