Contravercial top 3! Watford I think will be in trouble this year. I really like Dyche but if they can't get their home form going they will be down there and I think their team will be worse off for players this year.
I think they will be considerably stronger in the league this year. I know he's not everyone's cup of tea but personally I think Jose did an incredible job last year.
Man Utd winning? Can't see it, not even top 3, Mourinho is too much of a liability these days. Gonna do a top 6: 1. Man City 2. Chelsea 3. Spurs 4. Arsenal 5. Man U 6. Liverpool Everton maybe challenging the top 6. Bottom 3: 18 Watford 19 Brighton 20 Huddersfield We'll be safe, 10th I'd say.
We've got to be realistic and accept we will struggle massively without significant investment. 10th is possible with another 3 or 4 first teamed but right now we are relegation fodder
No I think not playing CL is a massive advantage. Admittedly its based on them doing CL type business with Lacazette, Lemar, signing a holding midfielder and retaining Ozil and Sanchez. I think they will do a lot better than people expect. The problem is they could sign Lacazette and Wenger could decide he doesn't need a holding midfielder (which he blatantly does). That 343 they played at the end of the season was great with the squad they had. Bellerin is made for it and Gibbs looked 10 times the player he had previously. As always with Arsenal its whether they can maintain it etc.
Well yeah right now, but I'd be shocked if this is our starting team, I definitely see another 3 or 4 coming in before the end of the window. And hopefully higher profile than this defender we just signed who I've never heard of.
Never gonna win the title, will be the same old Arsenal story, great start then **** it up after Xmas when as usual they focus too much on attractive football rather than grinding out results. A couple of flashy signings ain't gonna change that.
I'd currently go for: 1. Spurs 2. City 3. Chelsea - because I don't see Costa playing for them again and he's their best player. 18. Burnley - they just won't replicate that home form again this season. 19. Brighton 20. Huddersfield I expect this to change by the time the window shuts though.
I think we should all pick a top 3 and bottom 3 and each go and put a small agreed amount (£5 maybe) on at the bookies. See if anyone gets lucky.
1. Chelsea 2. Arsenal 3. Spurs 4. Man City 5. Man U 6.Liverpool 7. Everton 8. Southampton 9. Leicester 10. Newcastle 11. West Ham 12. Stoke 13. Palace 14. Bournemouth 15. West Brom 16. Burnley 17. Watford 18. Swansea 19. Brighton 20. Huddersfield This is susceptible to change, but is based on current squads, potential transfers etc, who knows we could have a manager leave prior to the season starting or one club blow £300m on superstars
