More rubbish! Bumper to finish at Stratford and it is most unusual to see a Wazzer horse at this sort of price in such an average looking race. He has a fine record in bumpers at the track and 11/4 could look very generous in 15 mins time. Backed it to win and also to win by 4L or more!
Yanworth fails Cheltenham dope test http://www.telegraph.co.uk/racing/2017/07/04/yanworth-fails-champion-hurdle-dope-test/amp/
I would have thought by now that someone would have quipped that the dope, that day, was on Yanworth’s back. Cor blimey would love to have been the proverbial fly on the wall when old boy J.P. (or one of his advisors) told Alan King that Mark Walsh would be riding Yanworth in the Champion Hurdle! Bally blinkin’ ‘eck! Alan King has history with the TCA drug (which may be legitimately used on horses in training but is banned on raceday) in that his mare Midnight Cataria was disqualified in October 2015 after the drug was detected in her system. He was fined £1,000 on that occasion and blamed the vet. Never heard that excuse before – nudge, nudge, wink, wink, say no more…
