Can't believe no-one put up a match preview. Result - I forgot about it until half time. Still, nice to find we are winning 2-1 at half time. Hope we can hang on in there and come away with all 3 points.

The League table as scores stand at half time looks good. Clear 7th place, 1 point below the play-offs. If only.

Missed the start of the second half and couldn't believe it when I saw the score at 3-1. 4 goals and missed them all. Shall I switch off and hope for 5-1? Despite the goal we have slipped to 8th, due to Notts County taking the lead against Tranmere.

Up to 7th again, due to Sheff Utd taking the lead against Walsall. In fact we're in the play-offs now. I'm enjoying this.

<laugh> first sign of madness Ron! <laugh>

Seriously though, what an excellent result! I wasnt at the game but cant wait for the reviews on here. An away victory is just what the team needed confidence wise and the fact that one of our new signings was on the score sheet is an added bonus.

    Good times :) :) :)

Good win... but disappointing for those of us who had a fiver at 50-1 that we'd score 4 or more and win, especially having 40 minutes to get number 4.

Good win for your lads Ron. I had a bet with my mate earlier that Wright -Phillips would score against us tonight, think he's scored in every game he's had against us.

Last season after 3 games we had 5 points and were in 7th place. Double promotion anyone?

What changed? We were in the play-offs towards the end. What a night, 4 sent off in the 94th minute or later in L1.

Thanks Monarch. Looks like Charlton are going to be difficult for anyone this season. Even though it's early days they must be odds on for auto promotion.

In fact they are 8/5 against but I forgot there are only 2 auto spots.

Good win for you also TA. Looking strong for promotion, even though it's early days. Just looked at your profile. I guess you lied about the ten pin.

Notts County's 97th minute winner pushed us down from 6th to 7th. Anyway sounded like a fantastic performance and hopefully something to build on for Saturday which is another winnable match and could see us really establish ourselves in the division.
