Surprised you haven't seen it - Cracking film. Anyone seen "Still Crazy"? That's one of my favourite music films ....
Cooler at the moment, but rising to 30 after that. Wish that had been the top temp whilst I was there. Have a great time.
Thank you. Yes, the weather looking a little bit iffy, but I'm just there for the relaxing (plus I'm getting to hang out with and watch The Cult at the piazza later in the week too).
Yes, I have seen it. Didn't recognise it from the title, so had to look it up. Yes, it was another enjoyable one.
Just as I start calling TSS for being our very own Barry Norman, the real Barry Norman had sadly passed away, aged 83. TSS will have to keep his legend moving on... ... and why not. RIP, Barry.
Two roses from my last remaining rose bush, in Spain. Used to have several, one that would grow to a height of approximately 10ft, before cutting it back to virtually nothing (as my dear old dad used to do with his), once a year. Unfortunately a "helpful" neighbour decided to use a power cleaner to clean my garden, after a dirty, sand filled drop of rain, then failed to properly re-connect the irrigation system I had fitted. Still, if I had chosen one bush to survive, it would have been this one, owning to it's fragrance. Absolutely beautiful.
Oh that is indeed sad. I used to watch him presenting Film YY every Monday night, and listen to The News Quiz on R4 [which gave birth to TV's HIGNFY]. Big shoes to fill, but I'll have to try and honour the title, with the occasional and irregular film review..
Thought provoking in the extreme. Harrowing even. But the rescuers, and people who don't look the other way, amongst you ought to watch this. This is the face of Greek Coastguards dealing with migrants, and being a migrant, so desperate that they have to leave their country, plucked from the sea. It's called 4.1 Miles. Do watch:
