Not sure I am upset or worried by this news. Would he have improved our mid-field? Very much doubt it. Loaned to Rotherham by his parent club last season is hardly a ringing endorsement of his abilities.
Unless he's a shade bitter, having left the club ages ago, I can't fathom a solitary reason why you'd choose ITFC ahead of Norwich? Not being funny here, I'm deadly serious.

Middlesborough now rumoured to be after Howson...if true...and if he is available, hopefully this will drive his price up. I'd be really sad to see him go, one of my favourite players over the past few season, so consistent! But at some stage we have to move on and I'd rather recoup a fee than watch him go on a free!
Another who flattered to deceive when I first saw him play I thought "this kid's got something", just as I did with Korey Smith. I very much doubt we or anyone else were seriously in for him, why would anyone with half a brain choose to play under Dino McCarthy, it certainly couldn't have been money that persuaded him to sign for the Binmen ?
