I noticed that the BBC Football write up wasn't a great reflection of the game and the SUN has topped that! Chelsea's AVB says "The amount of pushing was out of this world" and he will be rasing it in the referee's meeting! Whilst it is early days (and to be fair it wasnt the prettiest of games) it looks like this years press coverage will be little different to the the previous seasons! It's a shame that the world of football can't just except that when Stoke get a result they generally deserve it and have not cheated, bent the rules or played rugby!

I kown we are sometimes critical of our own team, but it infuriates me when they slate us for no reason! They were a disgrace and we fought hard for and fair for a well earned point!
Its stupid criticising your style, we can t all afford to buy 25mil flair players so teams like Stoke try to win games by battering ram set pieces and strong defending. It worked last year and in the cup final you could see the gulf in skill levels with Man City..... It was an awful article by the BBC journo. AVB never mentioned us or criticised us, the BBC journo is **** stirring. If you actually listen to the interview he does not criticise us in the slightest. Lampard and Terry's comments annoyed me though, they're looking for excuses for not winning. We did not play for a draw from the start, we probably did when Matty went off but not before.
Yeah Torres with his backward dive,got to give him credit for initative and lampard, he was already going down before he was touched...they were certainly desperate to get a goal and, not worried how they got it!. I turned the sound down when them idiots started talking..you just knew we were in for a lambasting. At least we had a half decent ref who knew what they were up to hehe.
WTF do you not know your team are meant to sit back and admire and smile and let the star players of these fantastic footballing sides just pass the ball to each other and we can all look on and admire how fantastic they are.

WE got to Wembley but we lost to a Zillion dollor team, so what! We always hoof it, yeah of course we don't! We play Rugby but, it's FINE for a certain Arsenal player to STAMP on Joey Barton. Potter?? Say again mate.. Have you read that article because it's about Stoke City not Chelsea in particular. Or, are you refering too the Mackem or Norwich fans? We do have a siege mentallity because of the press, certain managers and of course many fans who well............ Simply do not like Stoke City F.C. For whatever reason that's their choice. All I was saying is the same as others above. Our motto is... we stand together, we will always stay together, we sing loud, we sing proud, we are Stoke City. I won''t get drawn into yet another debate/argument. Waddo got it right as did the guy who wrote the article. Keep singing, keep supporting, keep giving it to those who are stupid enough to berate us as a club, our manager, our style and to some extent our fantastic supporters. Just REMEMBER Potterpalm... WHEN we hammered Bolton I along with many Stoke fans came out of the ground with my head held high.
