Now that we've calmed down after Saturday's defeat (haven't we?) what team would you play tomorrow? I've found it very difficult to pick a team myself, we are so short of pace and quality up top. I've gone with Nugent on his own again, but as I said before the Reading game, it's the player selection, and not the formation, that is hindering our creativity. please log in to view this image SUBS: SSL, Pants/Pelts, Johnson, Dyer, Schlupp. Once again I must reiterate that Fernandes and Abe should not be in the same team, especially at home, it's too negative and that was the main problem on Saturday. I didn't think Reading really caused us many problems until their first goal, which was about a lack of concentration from a set-piece. Therefore Abe drops out as he doesn't look to be in the same league as Fernandes from what I've seen from him. With no quality quick wingers in the squad we need to find other ways of supplying Nugent. Wellens will absolutely run a game against the likes of Bristol City if he is given movement ahead of him to work with. Whilst in the Coventry and Reading games he often had 2 isolated figures ahead of him, he should have 4 attacking players ahead of him with this team. When we are struggling to score goals it's crazy to leave out players who create and score them, so Gally and King, our highest scorers and 2 of our best players from last season, must come in for me. Danns has been played out of position on the wing so far and it shows as he's drifted inside a lot. There is nothing wrong with him drifting out wide now and again but a winger he is not. I'm confident that a trio of him, King and Gally behind Nugent will create chances against the likes of Bristol City. I see no reason to change the defence unless Peltier is fit. I've chucked Dyer on the bench because we may need his pace at some stage. Thoughts?
Emilio i'd go with the same altough I would be tempted to start dyer instead of danns. think sven will stick with him tho. dyer has to be at least the bench.

I will not be surprised at all if Sven starts with Howard. We need someone up top to hold the ball up. Can't wait for the game tonight.
I think most of the fans are thinking the same .... Drop Abe Sven! If the owners want Abe to play AND get promotion, they are dreaming. Much more attack minded team tonight please.
