    Well a new season begins, little transfer activity at the moment, LJ still in charge, i'm very interested to know How Long posters think LJ will be in charge, me, I think if we are in the bottom 6 after 10 games he will be sacked, what do other posters think.

    It depends. If we are bottom but it's very tight then he will probably stay.
    If we we adrift and not looking like recovering then he will go.

    To be fair last season we were only dicked once at Preston. The other games were close.

    Not defending the indefensible by the way - if we have a poor start then I will be the first to complain but I will not call for his head before a ball had been kicked.

    Two months max,if we are bottom three 100% has to go.

    Bottom 5/6 then he is on borrowed time.

    At present we have to be one of the favourites for the drop,under the current set up.

    If by the end of October we are anywhere near the bottom then the axe needs to fall. If we are going to be looking for a new manager then we must give that person some time before the transfer window to evaluate what he has and what he needs. I obviously hope we are doing well but another round of excuses will not cut it for me and another potential failure cannot be accepted despite the love affair.
    Has anyone seen any signs that things will change or can we expect more of the same?

    I was doing my prediction for the end of season final table and the one thing that became clearly apparent is that trying to make out a case for anyteam to win it or get relegated is not easy! there must be at least 14 teams that could claim a top 6 place, whilst there is 4 front runners to win it! {bookies} I disagree likely 7 -8, relegation well obvious candidates are last seasons "few " and maybe Bolton and Burton, however there could easily be 3 "leagues" within the 1, a top 10 mid 6 and bottom 8 defined with early points gaps! I have City at 15th {15th to 18th based on my game by game predictions 19 points away!}

    Unless we are in the bottom 3 for any length of time I think he will last until nov/dec. If at that point we are still in the bottom 6 I think he will get sacked to give someone time before the Jan window.

    If it was up to me he would have been gone months ago.

    Don't know when his time will be up, but one thing I do know is RR will be putting a poll up by the end of September or perhaps sooner.

    I have made my mind up about him now.. It will take miracles to turn me around on it..

    Happy to be proved wrong for the sake of our club!

    Goodness chaps.....can you all get any more negative? Last season is history...let's look forward, not backwards.

    Huddersfield fans may have had the same thoughts last year. Just saying.

    the more I look at the teams and "their abilities" ..at the moment, the more I can see a lot of mediocrity, and that is a dangerous pond to be swimming around in ....
