Atzeni is my new Spencer/Eddery. Never wins for me. Never forget Eddery "allowing" Fujiyama crest to complete Frankie's seven. Gonna change my name to Guinness as unlike Murphy damn right I'm bitter <badger><badger>

i'm sure it's nothing personal , but i suspect it's got a few factors involved , he certainly does ride from the front , off the pace and just behind the pace depending on many things , comparing him to spencer is pretty damning and doesn't really stand , but if you feel that way , never back him on a horse , simple

Alternatively I think the rich should have their winnings taxed heavily and this should be given to the poor to supplement their losses <diva>

No joy on the punting front again – Godolphin only seem to win this week when I am not on them!

I expect the bookies were quite happy with Different League winning the Albany and a little less happy with Permian getting back in the winning thread as he was well supported. The sore spot of the afternoon for them was the victory of the two Ballydoyle hotpots in the Group 1 features.

Whilst Caravaggio obliged, the first three home ran almost to the pound to their best form, so did we learn that they are all good or that none of them are special? Presumably they will meet again in the July Cup.

When Winter added the Coronation Stakes to her season’s tally, I think I was not the only one that was not especially impressed because she seemed a lot more workmanlike than when she had hosed up in Ireland last time. It could just have been as simple as she did not let herself down on the quicker ground, as her two stablemates followed her home and we know that neither of them are really a match in terms of ability.

At this stage, with just the one day to go, I am hoping that the weather does not intervene and transform the final day into a no bet; although looking at the fields, I am struggling to find something that I fancy even if the ground stays quick.

The ground was over watered for today, they also killed the high numbers with selective watering after the second day, anyone drawn there must have been sick that their chance was taken by the clerk of the course, Santry connections in particular come to mind.

Wish they would just leave it alone once the meeting starts, can see the point on the jumps to keep it safe for fallers but there is no need for it on the flat.

Now entered at Hamilton Park on 29th June.

The owners (the Morgans) have had horses with Mr Henderson for years with their most notable ones probably being Call The Cops and Sign of a Victory. If Jungle Room fails to fire for Amy’s Dad is it too early to nominate the 2019 Triumph for this one?!?
