Plumping for Mcerin in the opener

I almost backed Santry, but I'm too worried he may throw in the towel.

I know - don't give up the day job, right? :D

Benbatl: Fifth in the Derby then wins at Royal Ascot. Maybe the Epsom winner will not turn out to be a horse that cannot win another race... <laugh>

Going with Torcedor 20/1 e/w Ascot GC - is two from two this season and I really feel this marathon trip is going to suit the Fasnet Rock gelding. Is running on level terms with the fave today after receiving 5lbs when beating him lto but that form doesn't put him a mile away here and Jessie Harrington, chasing that elusvie RA winner, has a cracking chance with this lad.

    Good luck to all.

Great stuff from Olivier Peslier there - got blocked, switched outside and drove the filly home. Won the race EOS. Compare to that bollocks ride from Barzelona yesterday.

That was run a fair tempo there and Coronet was flying at the finish. Gosden threw 4 arrows and landed one in the bull.

Fifth in the Derby wins and now fifth in the Oaks wins as well. Does this tell us that the three year olds are a much-of-a-muchness this year? Granted both were dropping down in class as neither race was a Group 1 but perhaps we are lacking any truly Group 1 horses in the Classic division.

If I were a bookie, I would be looking to take Order Of St George on because it is not soft like last year and he has been known to put in the odd half-hearted effort like Champions’ Day.

If I were betting I'd probably chuck a couple of quid e/w on Harbour Law - why not?

Oooft, Moore certainly did all he could to make it as hard as possible for the jolly. Great ride on Big Orange.

Form an orderly queue to complain: Moore must have run an extra half furlong going around on the outside on the favourite and went down in a photo. Great finish for those of us with no financial interest...

Well done Ryan Moore, keep him out the back a the telly until the last couple of furlongs sure and make him run a 2m6 race whilst you're at it <doh>
