I yield to your knowledge QM ... let's see how it goes and I expect Ryan to try and run jack off his feet .... lay on mcduff !!!!
Good afternoon chaps Very slow internet again (fecking automatic Windows updates on already slow connection, grrrr!!) I'm liking On Her Toes in the tricky last, Abe Lincoln (with a saver on Bossy Guest) in the Hunt Cup, keeping the faith with Ulysses in the Prince of Wales, Usherette in the 3-40, the Happy Like A Fool in the 3-05 and Winning Ways ew at 16-1 in the opener Good luck all
Wouldn't it be great to think of the Queen turning to Charles and saying "Bloody warm day Charles, get the beers in"
But it does not suggest that the French three year olds are necessarily better than on this side of La Manche – the runner up was well beaten in the Irish 2000 Guineas, the 2000 Guineas at HQ and the UAE Derby.
Do you think there is a track bias? The 3 on the stands rail were well ahead and racing together, I think he did really well to reel them in
I think there is a track bias against the runners on the stands’ side. It looked to me that during that race the winner had the lead with three furlongs to go but then the stands’ side group fanned out and threw down their challenge and Boudot got the favourite back up near the line. Perhaps the French horse just idled in front – he tried to make all in the Poulains and got collared late by the winner.
I only got to see the race in real time as I am watching in the office on the ITV Hub player, so I start it, watch the race and stop it – the gaffer is only three yards away so I cannot really get away with more than three minutes every half hour. I do not back two year olds at Royal Ascot but I just picked that Queen Mary winner on the ten seconds that I saw of it walking around the paddock, having not even looked at the form for the race. I expect the favourite backers are not happy like a fool...
Matt Chapman was spot on again before the race ....................... bewildered that people were taking those prices on the Ward horse
"Worst ride of the week" award goes to Mikael Barzelona on Usherette ............................ I'd be fuming if I'd backed that
There are still plenty of races left for somebody to steal that title off him. Well done to anyone that had Qemah. It is starting to look like a good day for the French... I bet Benoist does not keep it going in the next...
Chris Eubank at Royal Ascot with some banking friends setting up a sovereign fund for the Turkish government. Did I really just hear that?
Tisbutadream looks over priced in the last at 14s ew,former c&d winner and trainer knows how to get one ready for a race like this.
Pleased for Ulysses' connections he ran a great race but pipped for 2nd, and no match for the imperious Highland Reel
What a fecking horse that Highland Reel is. Speed, stamina and a resolution of absolute steel. What a sire GALILEO is, just had the 1-2-3 in the Prince of Wales, the undisputed GOAT
