Good Morning Everyone Christiansen has named Julio Banuelos as his assistant at ER. The Spaniard was formerly his number two at APOEL and AEK Larnaca. Marcos Abad has also been named as their new goalkeeping coach having worked with our new Director of Football (Orta) whilst at Middlesbrough. This means that Aaron Flahavan and Pep Clotet will both leave Elland Road at the end of the month. Both were held in the highest regards! As you'd expect, all the Leeds starlets are suddenly being linked with moves away to the Prem, Viera at 10m, Wood at 15m etc. Does Christiansen need to make a marquee signing to settle things down or will that happen automatically once the dust has settled? According to reports in New Zealand, Leeds United’s Chris Wood sent security staff into a panic following his country’s defeat to Russia on Saturday. Wood is currently away with his national side, as New Zealand compete in the Confederations Cup. Stuff.nz have reported on Wood demanding to join his family after New Zealand fans were kept behind following their 2-0 defeat to Russia. It’s been claimed the Leeds United star and his teammate Ryan Thomas stunned security at the Krestovsky Stadium by storming up the stand to demand a gate was opened, so they could meet their loved ones.
The only thing TC needs to do is resign. The job is far too big for him and this is another Hockadayesque appointment. All you clowns trying to polish this particular turd are deluding yourselves and deep down you know it.
Nice positive start to the day, I am not going to challenge you, not because I agree but it is clear you are a glass half full (I am over stating that) kind of guy. I suggest you sit back relax and wait to see, your not going to change anything apart from your own blood pressure. Go for a run in the meadows, smell some flowers and chill before its too late. Peace man!!
Sorry to see Pep go, pity we couldn't find a good position for him, but Radz did say he would be bringing in his choice of staff right at beginning. If we can get 15m for Wood then let him go, I don't think he'll do well this season, once he's marked out the game, or can't get the service (like he was v Russia) then he becomes a passenger; most teams will know by now to mark him out the game. Viera is a tough one, he's young and developing. He tends to run hot and cold but when he's on song he sings, thing is, his songs don't sing every game, and he's not an attacking mid, as of yet. 25m for both can get us 3 or 4 good players, both our attack and midfield are suspect. They obviously have to be sold first, but, with Bridcutt a possible Monkey poaching, we would need at the very least 2 attacking mids, and we still have Mr Humanist Eunan O'Kane. It's been said Monkey wants Wood, and Bridcutt, and Bridcutt didn't live up to much last season so, let Monkey have'em both, then there's the money for Taylor, eventually.....
Morning all. Glorious day here in Dublin. All new setup at club yet again. Not a clue how it'll all pan out but personally want at least as good a season as last one. That was first enjoyable season since league 1 promotion year
Morning all I had a feeling what the post would be about and the replies so far Probably Eire has the right idea to just see what happens and if we dont beat 7th at the end of the season Radz has taken us backwards. Lots of fans on every other forum are not happy, but it will either by another Darko/Hockaday foooook up or a brilliant find. We wont know yet until we see the atmosphere at TA, the signings, the style of play, the results, team selection, players out on loan or brought back .....
morning all ... so Pep and friends were always going to follow Monk the Skunk out of ER ... amazed that Pep had resigned three weeks ago yet it was kept quiet ... I can just imagine the scenes if Cellino was still here, ranting away like Trump about loyalty and watermelons ... oh well, Pep and friends can all fcuk off as well, they will never get anywhere near as big a club as Leeds #deluded now that Tommy and his staff are in place we can expect things to start happening ... it will be interesting to see who Leeds decide to sell, and surely the likes of Murphy will be available for transfer ... what is a bit worrying is the fact that Taylor has not yet signed for a new club ... WBA want him, but on the cheap, and they will withdraw interest if they are forced to go to a tribunal Bartley probably won't be coming to Leeds, his price will be way too high ... when you consider that Hull have just sold Harry Fcuking Maguire for £17m then surely Bartley's price will start somewhere close to that ... Maguire is nowhere near a £17m player, but it once again shows how stupid football has become ... Pontus at £3.5m now seems the deal of the century, and underlines Orta's statement yesterday that buying players in England has a premium attached to it, though why is anybody's guess, because the quality isn't exactly light years better Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
Billy the premium price starts with kids from academies and Taylor shows what can happen, he wont return next week with the rest but can expect to pick up his wages until October. Overseas players dont cost as much as no VAT is due on the fee, so even on a like for like basis overseas are 20% cheaper. lack of money in football outside the prem is forcing clubs to ask for ridiculous prices and why we have more players than ever with no club who are all free agents. Some good players in there. Foreign players adapt quicker when going to UK club with DoF set up, look how many Brazilian and Argie teens are in Spanish squads, look at Chelsea with 54 kids out on loan last season, madness
So you want to sell Bridcutt & Viera, our two DMs, and replace them with 2 AMs? So you want us to play without a DM then?
I can't be accused of being wrong. Couldn't log in for a while and forgot password but all seems ok again. Question for you technical Mighty, I've started using Tapatalk on phone but doesn't seem to allow emoticons Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

I also believe in the post Brexit benefits of cheaper food, unencumbered fishing, more money for farmers, free access to single market, no more immigrants, £350m a week for the NHS, that the EU needs us more than we need then, David Davis is a superb negotiator, our civil service is the best in the world and will run rings around EU negotiators, countries like India are desperate to have trade deals with us and won't want freedom of movement, Trump loves us and will gives us a generous deal, the conservatives always put country before party or self interest, Theresa May is strong and stable, Liam Fox is a man of impeccable integrity, Boris is not scheming to be PM, the EU won't try to move any financial services from London, the fact that car makers like Nissan move car parts back and forth during the construction process does not mean we need to be in the customs union; the Americans discovered alien bases on the far side of the moon, Millwall have a chance of avoiding relegation ............ trust me I know what I'm talking about
