Milk i would answer but admin are being gimps to me atm asking a genuine question but the deletion answers it for me, but i wanted your views the users not the mods views.
MIKE - http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2011/jul/27/european-clubs-breakaway-fifa-uefa i wont be so petty as the mods their you go mate.
What you posted had nothing to do with obeying uefa after 2014, you were trying to wind us up with the aguero & silva comparisons which is already on-going on another thread.
Gotcha, thanks. There have always been threats of a breakaway- will definately be interesting to keep an eye on.
BluffCityRed-La Barba Roja ive not seen the thread and if you think its a wind up then you clearly believe you have had the poorer buys, answers my question anyway cheers, if it wasnt deleted your buys may have had some creedance now its clear thanks for that
Was talking about the threads that kept getting deleted..... Anyway, Aguero and Silva are better than Carroll and Hendo, problem is we could not and would not really have had a chance to get them. 35 mil was spent due Torres leaving and we needed something quick, went for llorente and gomez too but it didn't come off. hendo for that amount is something they see in him that he can come good down the line, time will tell.
The ffs was always going to be a struggle to enforce, fifa and uefa are not exactly squeky clean and yet this is the organisation thats supposed to enforce the rules. The Clubs that will find and exploit the loopholes are also the same clubs which have the most sway in europe. There is noway uefa would stop Barca, Madrid, Man u or city for that matter due to to the huge finacial power they have not to mention the sponsers and advertisers who would quite frankly **** if even a couple of top teams where not allowed in too the champs league. Like it or not Money rules the game from top to bottom, those with the most money have the power.
Lets not go over the carroll/aguero comparison again... I hate it when people quote costs of players but forget to mention wages. In fact.... I think ALL deals in the press from now on should include the wage within their transfer fee. so Aguero's transfer fee should be quoted as a "Protracted £90m" as that is the price of his transfer fee and the collective total of his wage within the initial contract (contracts there after should not be counted as they are contracts of retained servies). If the player is sold before his initial contract runs out then the fee can be amended in later reports.
Bozz. This was an article on FFP not Carroll and Aguero. You are correct to dismiss anyone that brings that up. Andy Carroll and Sergio Aguero are different types of players that offer two different things. This has been pointed before when making a comparison is Tevez vs Suarez, Aguero vs Suarez. Back to the FFP. I believe the thing is a farce, because the clubs can find too many loop-holes to ensure they can get around it. FSG and you pointed out this already can issue rights issues or Class B shares to generate liquid cash. This is legal and above board, and nobody can stop them from doing so.
Yes thats correct. Theres another way. John Henry and Tom Werner could ''loan'' FSG money, in the form of a debenture, this is allowed in corporate law. Hicks and Gillett did it on Liverpool by loaning their parent company money. However they charged their parent company (KOP Holdings) interest, and Liverpool being a money making asset had to pay it back as they were owned by the parent company.
