Everytime my son gets himself annoyed when the Mags are taking the urine out of us I simply say 'what goes around comes around'. I have seen so many instances of crowing from both sides backfiring in a short time that I have developed the 'wisdom of age' and when I feel brassed off about something at Sunderland I remember it will be their turn soon. I have to say though I am amazed at how many of them are saying that THEY had to take the money and that THEY got more for Carroll than we got for Bent. THEY??? Surely Mr Ashley. I wonder if any of them actually believe that the 35m will be re-invested in players or whether the Arch Businessman will take a little profit while he can? 24m for Bent and the re-investment has already begun, I doubt the mags will see 3.5m of the Carroll money spent on players. Disappointed but not surprised at their reaction to some of our posters ripping the mick out of them over Carroll considering the bluster that came from St James when Bent went. As I said at the beginning 'what goes around'....!!!
Great points, but you have missed the biggest one IMO. Carole is a local lad who supported the club. Bent was (as it turns out) a mercenary who was always chasing a move he thought could get him cash Thats why they are so gutted about!! But whats goes around as you say.....

DMS- Just set up on here having migrated across from 606. Yes it's the mill on cleadon hills taken in the snow last year. I live not far from here and enjoy the view over Sunderland, SoL and AoL from the 'mill. Nice to see so many of the 'old faces' have moved over with syd keeping us all in check!!!
used to go up there a lot as a kid, not to far from whiteleas where i was brought (dragged?) up. i came onto not606 a few days ago and have to say it's the most "interesting" board i have ever been on
DMS- I will change the pic on a regular basis with other shots of shields just in case you get home sick. Loads of good lads on here as well as the WUMS and to be fair some of the skunks can engage in decent banter from time to time.
