Presumably, this interview was done for one of the Scottish papers... Although Robertson is keen to help out his old side, who are struggling financially, he is in no rush to decide his future. "Don't get me wrong, it's unbelievable getting linked with big clubs," he said. "That's where you want to go, of course it is. "I'll speak to my agents and see what they have to say. I'll just be looking to my future and seeing what's best for me. "If I can help my old clubs along the way then so be it, but it has to be right for me first and foremost. "I think that price is crazy. It's going down and down, it'll be £1 million soon. That's the way I like it! It's crazy money down there but I'm not looking into it too much. "People are talking about it, but I'd switched my phone off for the last week or two to try and focus on the England game. It was such a massive game for all of the boys and it was unfair for anyone to think about their future. "I have plenty of time to do that. I'm looking forward to getting away now on holiday and, if something gets sorted in that time, then so be it." http://www.hulldailymail.co.uk/i-wo...0391857-detail/story.html#u7m0WZOvyHc4wxFl.99
I think he's talking about the debt at Dundee and the amount they'll get from any transfer fee, but it's obviously not clear.
The original interview was in the Daily Record, but it's no clearer... http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/former-dundee-united-star-andrew-10617180
I think he is talking about how much he would be signing for, as in the valuation of him. I think that price is crazy - journo has told him a valuation he has heard It's going down and down, it'll be £1 million soon. - the different valuations Robbo has heard That's the way I like it! - doesn't want to be tagged with a big transfer fee and the additional pressure it brings It's crazy money down there but I'm not looking into it too much. - Down there been England, and he is spot on , the transfer fees are crazy
Don't think that's right, if anything his valuation is sky-rocketing, why would he want his valuation to go down?
Zero debt????? Yes, because the huge debt was written off by your owners and/or turned into equity. Leicester "cheated" the FFP rules on the way to promotion, not to mention screwing their creditors when they went into administration in the early 2000s.
I wouldn't rise to him. He's shown himself to be an all round idiotic ****. He won't know of anything that occurred prior to the last couple of seasons.
I am not saying his value is going down, Robbo is. I would guess he is a level headed player who doesn't want to be burdened with a stupidly high price tag, many players struggle with that added pressure
I never said Dawson doesn't have problems now (way too many injuries all the time), but he was a good buy for us. I don't think we can blame him for the form of Davies who should be able to adjust.
I've long thought Dawson's signing marked the start of Davies's decline. Not only was he the big name signing, he was also made captain, at Davies' expense, and was likely on a much better wedge than Davies. I'd have been right been pissed off.
I'm not sure he declined that much, he was good in the air and decent at getting a foot in, but he was always terrible with the ball at his feet.
