    Celtic have apparently rebuffed an approach from Liverpool for Celtic winger Paddy McCourt.

    Despite scepticism from certain fans of both clubs it appears that the "crazy" newspaper rumour was not so preposterous after all.

    Would Liverpool fans be happy with signing a player of McCourt's ability and would Celtic fans be sad to see him go? Or would a sizeable transfer fee cushion the blow?

    As long as Skylarker and Medro Pendes leave well alone it should be fine.

    He wouldn't cut it in the EPL...

    He's a luxury player and his workrate (and fitness) are questionable!

    I'd like him to stay at Celtic but if they get a few million from Liverpool, then punt him (as long as Neil Lennon gets the cash to buy a Striker)

    Dalglish paid £35m for Carroll and £10m for Adam (who was an average SPL player.)

    I don't think it will happen but if Liverpool come in with a £1.5m+ bid I say we take it.
