Hatem Ben Arfa wants payout to leave PSG

Former Newcastle United forward Hatem Ben Arfa is reportedly set to demand £5.2million - if he is forced to leave Paris Saint-Germain this summer.

The 30-year-old secured his dream move to the Parc des Princes last summer but soon fell out of favour with manager Unai Emery.

He is free to leave the Parc des Princes, but Le Parisien reports that Ben Arfa’s agent Michel Ouazine will only agree to allow the playmaker to leave this summer if he is given a one-year pay-off on his €6m-a-season (£5.2m) contract.

The bloke is a one man disaster area - and some people want us to re-sign him....

"some people want us to re-sign him...."

    Re-sign or resign?
That hyphen makes a huge difference.

I wouldn't wish him on anyone. The skill he brings is far outweighed by all of the baggage and disruption he brings to every team he plays for.

Offer PSG £750,000 for him, this way PSG don't have to pay £6m to get rid, we get the first chance to sign him. If anyone can manage him, it's Rafa. World Cup year, honestly I see no reason why Hatem couldn't make the French squad if he has a stormer in the PL, Sissoko makes the squad even though he spends all his time on the bench.

To be fair he's blown his career and hasn't got long left. He'll be taking everything he can. I fully expect to see him in China or Qatar once he squeezes some cash out of PSG.

Yeah, not sure if we've replaced the Tea Lady yet, sure he'd be happy with that role as he'd get to nick all the biscuits...

But they don't owe him it unless he is with them for that year. I'm on a permanent contract, I can't turn around and say "if you don't give me the classes I want to teach then you have to pay me off until I'm 67".

    (some) Footballers are knobs!

Exactly - just trying to hold them to ransom - "pay me the money, or I'm going to sit here and collect my wages and do **** all until my contract expires"

Same as he's done at ever other club, pisses everyone off, then goes on strike or throws a tantrum to get what he wants

Wouldn't be so bad if he was actually worth the money

To be fair they haven't transfer listed him. They've simply told him, quite rightly, you are not good enough and won't play here. If you want to move on we won't stand in your way. The lazy **** loves football so much he has said I'm not going anywhere without a massive payday. It sums the useless **** up perfectly to be honest.

I'm sure PSG will pay to lop off the cancer if the deal suits. I just think 5.2m isn't going to happen. I'm sure they will just await an offer from China or Qatar then send him on his way with maybe £1m in his pocket. Everyone is happy. Well except his new team when he acts the cock there too.

    He's entitled to it regardless

    I'd do exactly the same

I'd say he's entitled to it if he doesn't play for anyone else during the remaining year of his contract.
