Odd as labour voters talk about equality! But in the news all the youngsters who voted have only mentioned fees & minimum wage! Talk about I'm alright jack? <laugh>

It may have been a driving force but ultimately people have more than one reason to vote a certain way.

Lammy, put a bullet in the head of this thread as soon as you like.

Some of the posts have amused me.

    Some have appalled me.

Some I've agreed with. (About 7 from memory).

I can live with the right wing bias.

I can live with the left wing bias.

I can cope with the nonsense, the prejudice, the ill-informed bollocks, the sniping, carping, sniding and mashing of the truth.

The lies, the racism, the unfairness, the hypocrisy.

    I'll live with all that.

However, you ****s that have criticised and patronised the young voters need to take a long hard look at yourself. They are the future. They'll be here when you are not. They are angry, concerned and worried about the future.

    They deserve your respect.

Shame on you for dissing them.

Politics needs to connect with our young people, our football club needs to connect more with young people.

    The main bits were true.

I did buy a nuclear submarine from the Saudi's and a fishing vessel packed with gold and cash to be laundered.

Fear not, I'm no dirty peasant.

Trying to suggest that the DUP are on a par with ISIS is really weak and just a little bit silly.

I thought for a minute you were going to say me admitting my physical attraction to Nicola Sturgeon was a step too far.

    But no.

    No mention of it.

Maybe you harbour the same thoughts Ern?

You're right, their history is rooted in Loyalist terrorist groups and death squads like the UDA and UVF, comparable to Sinn Fein's relationship with the Provos. Except Sinn Fein was always a secular republican party, the DUP is openly religious and geared toward Protestantism and their homophobia, anti-abortion stance and New Earth creationism is motivated by religious extremism.

The stance of the DUP is fairly backward, but you won't find them blowing up kids in Manchester, or anywhere else for that matter.

    **** analogy.

For a couple of years in the early 70s twice as many people where killed by the Unionists than the IRA.
